Electrical Engineer
Allgemeines
Purpose / Role:
Provide technical assurance to Client team Engineering Manager across all aspects of the DCS Upgrade Program
Electrical design and construction work
Support the project Engineering Contractor and System Vendor teams to understand client requirements
Work with the wider engineering team to ensure system design integrity is maintained

Prime responsibilities and duties:
Work as part of a client engineering team responsible for:
Advising the engineering contractor and systems vendor team on client requirement
Answering technical queries as required
Ensuring the proposed design meets client design standards/requirements and good engineering
practise
Identifying to the project management team where scope has potentially been missed
Reviewing design documentation from both system vendor and engineering contractor
Supporting the construction and commissioning team to understand the design and answer queries as required
Support the other members of the engineering team as required to ensure delivery of the entire project scope
Attend FATs and perform site visits as required to support project delivery

Key Requirements and Experience:
Experienced Electrical engineer with knowledge of working in a project delivery environment and team
Evidence of working on engineering system design for UPS, and building electrical systems in a brownfield environment
Experience of working within the oil and gas or refining industry
Comfortable working in an international project team
Fluent to communicate in both German and English
Experience working in the client engineering assurance team across multiple projects desired
